New Record Shelf
Yesterday my mom got me a record shelf.
It's from Sears. It was in the hardware department. It was way easy to put together. Just snapping plastic rods into plastic holes.

As you can see there are no sides to the shelf. That's why I put the crates in there for support. I also duct taped some squares from those wire cube things to the sides.

Now I'm all excited about my records. Thing is, though, there's a lot of them missing. Probably at least 10 records that I can think of that aren't there... Hopefully they weren't left at another apartment or are still on loan to friends and we'll never see them back. If you have any of my records, I miss them. Give them back please. Particularly The Cars! We need our Cars.

Today

Yesterday I got this book from Amazon: An Insider's Guide to Robert Anton Wilson by Eric Wagner. I ordered it because I'm a huge RAW fan but unfortunately his books are very hit-and-miss. I thought it was a good investment so I can avoid spending money on drivel like the meditation book.
I got Thomas Pynchon's Against the Day about 2 weeks ago and I'm about 250 pages in (out of 1000+ pages). I'm really loving it so far.
I finished my finals yesterday. Phew.
They were hard. Electrical Engineering is hard. I wish I would have gone to class this semester because I can't wing EE finals like I can with other classes.
Fortunately I have a month without school. I'll be working, reading, trying to relax, trying to get my house clean. I'm starting tomorrow. I'll be taking all the still-packed boxes to the basement because if we haven't unpacked them we probably don't need them.
I'm really looking forward to my reading a lot.
