As you can see from my recent books (Library Thing, right panel) I've obtained a copy of Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller. I love love love love love her Stitch & Bitch books and thought the patterns were really cute in Happy Hooker. Everyone tells me crocheting is easier than knitting, so I want to give it a try.
Crocheting is impossible!!!
I don't understand at all... I think I need someone to show me. I had no problem making a base chain, and then I think I'm making the single crochet stitches but it ends up looking like a weird mess. I got so frustrated by it that I started knitting a scarf just to feel like I wasn't a total loser.
Can anybody show me how to do it? Please?
